The Challenge:

Parsons is a general contracting company that was managing a 36,000-square-foot expansion project for an international biologics manufacturing company. The client needed rapid and efficient on-demand reproduction of their construction plans. The plans were constantly changing and, every time they were revised, new copies needed to be provided to as many as 30 subcontractors. Parsons decided that they really needed a dedicated reprographics staff and copying equipment on-site for a period of 18 months. But they did not want to go through the hassle of researching and purchasing equipment and hiring staff themselves.

Our Solution:

After extensive consultation with the general manager, we recommended that we set up an Infinite Imaging™ reprographics center at their facility. Infinite Imaging provided one of our highly trained reprographics team members on-site from 8am to 5pm, and installed a large-format, digitally networked copier. We also installed the appropriate software on the computers of all the subcontractors so they would have direct print access from their offices. And we stocked the center with bindery equipment and paper inventory. All in all, we provided over $50,000 worth of equipment on-site. We also created a back-up plan, such that if the volume exceeded the capabilities of the Infinite Imaging on-site facility, we would pick-up and deliver finished documents from our Pease location on a priority status within just two hours.
